Shot Notes

Ok, so this wasn’t taken in Cambodia or anywhere in South East Asia, but I couldn’t resist posting this image of “The Bean” or the Cloud Gate which I took on a visit to Chicago with some of my family.  The image doesn’t quite capture the whole feeling, but it is quite an amazing piece of art.  At the 23 million dollar price tag, I guess it should be good…

   We have just come home from a visit to Chicago and we totally agree with you! It is a great city and the bean was our favorite too! Have lots of photos of it, and will post some on our blog when we have had the time to work on them.
   Great darkness in you shot! we did not see it at night, but before the sunrise (that is us photographers – getting up before sunrise even on a holiday…. -but what don’t we do to catch the light…?)
